Wow can you tell I was excited? Called this 'Bringing to Malibu home today' instead of 'Bringing the Malibu home today'.

Your car sounds great and I'm glad you're getting her done. I noticed in one photo you have a single return spring for the accelerator, it might be a nice idea to put a double spring in there just in case.... 😀

Good for you! Glad that you hung in there, and were able to get some help. I think you'll be happy in the end, once the car is sorted out.

Yeah gonna do that before it hits the road too. There's actually a lot of small things like that I need to do.

Did you also notice the spring is currently attached where the kickdown should be? Lots of little things lol

nope, I didn't notice that till you mentioned it...I'm sure glad you didn't give up on it.. 🙂

MAN!! Sounds SWEEEET!

WOWOWOW that bad boy sounds clean!!! Cam choice?

maybe it just mebut i think you should part it out im sure i can find a good home for the moto  now seriously that is a mean sounding beast im glad you never gave up and your keeping it alive im sure it will tunout awsome in the end...

lol

It's a 274 Crane Energizer cam http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CRN-100172/

As for the rest of the engine. It's a 355 with 10.5:1, worked over L82 2.02 heads, unknown intake, Edelbrock 625 (plan to change this summer), MSD Streetfire distributor and wires. Breathing through shorty headers and either 2" or 2 1/4" exhaust (glasspacks) out the rear. And the exhaust will also be changed out this summer to 2 1/5" with chambered powerstick mufflers.

Here's a clip of what I want mine to sound like (or at least close to):

And it's backed by a B&M TH350 with 2400 stall. 24 1/5" tires with either 3.73s or 4.11s (not sure what they are lol).

Should be a quick little 4-door 8)

Now I got to thinking, I really have no clue what the intake is. Here are a few pics (all I have until I go out tomorrow and take some more) I have:

I'm trying to remember if it's single or double plane. It's polished and accepts a spread bore carb (probably gonna put a quadrajet on it when I get the exhaust redone). And I see it has the spot to machine an old style oil filler tube. Anyone know what it is?

I was thinking of maybe going to an RPM airgap, but this engine was dynod with this intake and made 435 HP (but with a 750 Demon, and unknown igniition and headers), so I don't know if I wanna change it.
