Broken upper control arm

I also thought the car was way too clean for something like this to happen. Although, we've seen cars on the forum that were very nice on the topside, yet they'd have rusted frame rails, floors, etc.
 
I’m pretty sure after inspecting the control arm further that the front rubber bushing failed first and that caused the back of the already weakened arm to start bending,and we all know what happens when you repeatedly bend a piece of metal back and fourth. The arm didn’t rot right off it broke with a very loud snap!! It’s hard for me fathom that the control arm is that bad when the car has original exhaust and most of the original brake lines lol
