Looking to take out the bench seat in my 85 GP and put in some bucket seats.

Where is the best place to look for some?

Do you have a split bench seat. If so you can reuse your tracks for your new buckets. If not you will have to either make your own mounts or drill out the new holes for your seats. Check the search engine as many members have done this to theirs as I have as well. I am sure others will chime in on what they have done. 😀 You can find seats at your local salvage yard or order some from jeggs as I did for my wifes Corvette. 🙂

I don't have the split bench seat. I have the full bench seat all the way across without a center console.

What would be your recommendations on some bucket seats that would look nice in my GP that they have on Jeggs?

i have 3 pairs of cutlass high backs i am trying to get rid of..... gray and 2 burgundy pairs. you can get seat cover kits for 450 bucks and have basiacally brand new seats 🙂

I wouldn't drill and make new mounts for the front seats. use the stock studs and make a bracket from 1/4 inch steel will do the job. any seat can be made to bolt in long as it fits dimensionally.

jc whitney used to send their garage pro seats to your door for 100$, i think they ended that program a while ago though. but if you can score a 15% off coupon or something they still may be worth it, check around the net to see if there's any promo codes or coupons floating around

If I tell you they fit well with your own brackets you may buy them.
If I tell you the amount of work it is to cut and drill those brackets you may not.

all I can say is they're a pretty good price.
