Why am I always being blamed for everything?

Looking good - we are much less dead around here when it comes to watching and responding to threads than LS1Tech and less drama than FaceBalls.

I went with a pre-bent plain steel cage kit from allstar performance. I can't even buy this much steel for what this whole kit cost, shipped to my door

fitting the main hoop

gonna notch the frame so I can drop the assembly down to weld out the tops

halo bar tacked in. fit is okay for a pre-bent kit.

a pillar bars welded out. these are probably the worst part of the kit. If I did it again, I'd bend these myself

the back bars are long enough that I was able to work them to hug the c pillar and come through the package tray outside the trunk hinges and land on the frame

ok so that last pic jumped ahead a bit

with the frame notched I could weld and paint the top of the cage

the main hoop and a pillar bars need to land on a boxed section of frame so that came before the rear bars were welded to the frame

then I could cover them up and seam sealer the area

from there it was just getting the harness bar and d-bars in

kinda tricky fitting the door bars so it cleared the seat when it was forward and didnt hit the door panel

just finished the swing outs and started jamming the interior back together

I'm still missing some tan interior parts. I'll put a WTB/WTT ad up in the classifieds...I have a few decent black interior pieces for trade or sale

Are you going to install the front bars? Can't help but think even with the swing out getting in and out isn't going to be easy.
