Random question: You 455 guys happen to know the original lifter bore dimensions for a Pontiac 455? I think Buick and Pontiac bore measurements maybe were the same. All the lifter kits seem to be for both. The measurement I got from comp and google both is .842, which is smaller than what's on my block. So before I have to sleeve lifter bores, I'd like to know if that's the measurement you got. Thanks!

that's the thing, we have just a block here, tossed everything else I know olds 403 lifters from the trans am don't fit, lol. The deal is I'm getting it machined and the shop called the other day and said my lifter bores were bigger than what I originally thought. Called comp, which is where I got the .842 and that's too small a measurement.
