Buick engine number 3161 5.0 L G help me now please

I need information about a General Motors engine. This engine came in an '82 buick if I remember correctly, but I do not find much information about it. as done is the engine numerator, if it is a 350 or 307 engine. help me

that is an Olds 307

Well, for one, a 350 of any make (buick olds pontiac chevy, dodge, etc) is more or less 5.7 liters. a 5.0 in a g body is either an oldsmobile 307, or a 305 chevy. If it has a large oil fill tube up front, it's an oldsmobile. if not, it's a chevy.

No number needed. If its a factory 5.0, and it has a oil fill tube, its an olds. If not, Chevy. I believe the 307 and the 305 will have a 5.0 or a 5L cast somewhere on the sides of the block.
