15X8 with 3.5" or less BS is going to rub the inner fender sheet metal in front on a Regal.

15X8" with 3.75" or less BS and you are going to have to run a 235 or smaller front tire.

You can run 15X8's in front with a 4" BS, but you'll probably still need to bend/hammer/cut away the inner fender to run a 245 tire on a properly stanced car.

I run 255's on the front of my T-type (16X8's with 4.5" BS with 12" brakes that are offset out 3/8" from the factory brakes).. and I needed major inner fender reshaping.

If you have problem with tires rubbing at full turn you can remove the stops on the lower control arm, drill a hole and use a bolt and a few nuts to have an adjustable stop. Line up the bolt so the head will be contacted by the tab on the spindle that used to contact the OEM stop. I used 7/16" bolts on my GP.

That is a good tip. With G-bodyparts upper arms, tall upper ball joints and GTA's, the wheels hit the arms, just before the tire hits the swaybar. The Tire hitting the sway bar is no big deal, but the upper control arm cutting the back of the wheel like a lathe is very bad.

8" wheels with 3.5" or less backspacing will hit the top of the inner fenders in a straight line and with a 26" tall tire hit the back of the wheel well at steering angles way less than lock, so its better to go with more backspacing (positive offset), and then stop the excess travel to keep the wheel off of the swaybar./frame.

So I could I do a 15x8 with 3.75 on the front with a 235 instead of a 245 or would I need a 15x7? And for the back a 15x8 with 3.75-4" with a 245? Or could I go with a 255/60/15? Mildly confused, never dealt to much with wheels.

Judge Mills just put soft 8's on his elco. Check out his thread.

You'll want 4" BS in Front with an 8" wheel and a 245 tire. 3.75" might work, but could rub the inner fender lip The other issues with 8" wheels in front is there may be some tie rods or control arm interactions with the back side of the wheel. 17" and larger wheels aren't a problem, but 15" and 16" dia 8" wheels can hit stuff if they have deeper backspacings. With a 7" wheel, 3.75" BS will work fine with a 245/60. You can put from 225's to 275's on 8" rims with no issues. On 7" rims, 195 to 255 fit with no issues (uneven tread wear, stretching etc.)

In back, 275/60 will fit, so 255/60 should be no problem. 8" with a 3.75" to 4" BS will be fine.

Judge Mills put 17X8's on in front. 15X8's in front and the back side of the rim might hit stuff. Might not, but it also might.

Thanks for all your help all!

One more thing.... offset... what do I do with that information...? Help? lol

Also if I read that right, that means I could have 245/60/15s all around with 15x8 in the back, with 4 inch max bs and 15x7 in front with 4 inch BS, or 255/60/15 in back with the 3.75-4 bs and 235/60/15 with 4 bs and be fine? Stock ride height, if a little higher.
