Took the car to the Carlisle, PA GM Nationals this weekend. 45 Turbo Cars in all showed up and the weather was perfect. My car won Elite Award on Friday, chosen by Carlisle event staff and 3rd in Buick T-Type Modified which was participant judged. Couldn't be happier and had a great time with a great group of people.

Congrats on award and nice looking car! I plan on driving down to OC next year or maybe this year if my car is finish in time. Last time I went to Carlisle, I came back home and spent over $2500.

Made a few more upgrades in the past few days. Biggest of which was the switch to a FAST XFI 2.0 ecm. Almost infinite adjustability, although it will take a while to learn it all . Also added a line lock for the front brakes, upgraded the rear brakes, manual override for the efans, and a set of HR Parts motor mounts. Should be making my first passes down the strip soon.

Conservative tune. 396whp 402wtq, 19psi, 19 degrees timing, 11.4afr, 93 oct only. Finding that my converter could be a bit looser.

Made my first ever passes down a drag strip today during the East Coast Buick Regionals. All things considered I think it went ok. Didn't brake anything and had a good time. Thanks to my buddy Randy Asbury for being my videographer and giving me helpful tips all day . Still on the safe street tune with some 110oct mixed in. Have no doubt the car could go high 11's as is and low 11's with more aggressive tuning. Just need more seat time. Ebrake launch seamed to work the best. Trans was shifting a bit too soon and forgot to lock the converter at the line. Last 2 runs were the best.

The following day I cleaned her up for the car show part of the event hosted by MAGNA. 60+ Buicks showed up. I was lucky enough to wind up next to a 15,000 mile GNX . Walked away with a top 30 award. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend.

Had the car out yesterday for a cars and coffee event. Also just a nice fall day to get out and cruise. Couple pics......
