Hey, the build seems to be coming along well, good job! I did the sbc & t5 swap last summer but was running out of money so I used 3rd gen f-body pedals and the hydro linkage. Well I'm not happy with the set-up anymore, apparently the angle of where the clutch master cylinder is vs the angle of where it connects to the clutch pedal is too far, causing the master to leak and ultimately break :blam: . Now that I have a couple bucks and a daily driver I wana fix it the right way. So what I'm asking is, MORE INFO ON THE JOHN B PEDALS PLEASE!

From what I remember the last time I was looking at them, they are designed for 3rd gen fbody hydro setup. And thats pretty much all I remember right now  Do you get all of the pedals or only the clutch pedal that bolts to yours? Any complaints about them? How much does he sell them for? AND most importantly how do I get in touch with him??

Thanks guys, any info is greatly appreciated!!

PS: What do you think of the Iceman crossmember? Thinking that might be another purchase to make soon. Is a thm350 too different from a t5 to use the same crossmember for both?

I have the same problem with my roof to but its not as bad as yours, I don't even think it went through all the way but I like what your doing with your car!

I have not received info on the John B pedal either, but did find this one:
http://www.gsi-interiorss.com/item/sheet-metal-sheet-metal/monte-carlo-ss-g-body-cluch-pe/lid=983837

for $150+$15 shipping.

It has the correct geometry for a hydaulic clutch, and uses your existing brake pedal and bracket.

If the John B one doesn't materialize, I'm going with this one.

I'd still ike info on the reservoir bracket (above)

Um yeah, I have like no idea how to resize pics....

Thanks man, thats exactly what I need! Looks like a nice piece, tho the welds in the second pic bug me. Not a big deal, but I wouldn't have used that as the pic to put on the website. Anyway, does anyone of any experience with this piece?

Also :bump: for more info on the reservoir bracket please

For the price you can't go wrong with that pedle. I got mine from john himself, I'll try to find his email and give it to you but he sells his for $200 shipped.

As for the cutlass here are a couple updates.
I got the blazer spindles got a deal for this $129 for both and I got lucky cause they have BRAND NEW pads.

also got a 69 camaro front spoiler. I was told it was bolt on but I had to drill a couple new holes to make it fit. Another thing you can see in the pictures are my new wheels, got tired of the 19's ( too big and gave the car a lifted look) and got myself some c5 vette wheels i like these cause i can drop the car since they are 17x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the car also think the car looks great with them. also got the amber bumper light off a 442.

The pedals are TIG welded on both sides of the tubing unlike OEM does one side, also carry a limited lifetime warranty, if you can break those welds send it back, I've used the original prototype for about 4 years, made the pedal before I even started the company.

Well, I think its about time I do an update. lol havent done to much it but fix some of the rust on the roof, new wheels, rally pac, and new rear. For the rust repair I went for the quick cheap fix and used fiberglass. The reason i did that is cause i needed to fix it quick since the leak was getting worse, plus I'm still looking for a donor for a t-top roof or i'm kinda thinking of doing targa top style roof( that'll be pretty hard tho). Here are some pics of the roof fix, i think i did pretty good for the first using fiberglass.
the previous owner had "fixed" with fiberglass sheets and bondo lol
i just cleanded it up also added that anti-rust(forgot the name, the spray that converts the rust) spray and left it over night

Still need to finish it off with bondo then i gotta do the rest of the body work hoping to paint by november

This is how she sits now with the wheels. The wheels are stock 19's from a 7 series BMw on ebay they go for 1300 i got mine with brand new tires for 200 which the only reason i put then I'm still looking for nice 17's
they are 19x9 in the front and 19x10 in the back so they have a nice staggered look

and for the rear i got a 7.5 with 3:73 and eaton posi , Also got a ls1 camaro rear disc's that I'm going to install when i change the bearings on the rear.
Let me know what you think.
i really like those 2 stripes you have on the fender. your car is really coming along really well. cant wait to see it done.

dang man, the car is looking great. Props to you for all your hard work.

You did a good job making the roof look good for the time being. I have some body work myself that I need to do on my 78 olds cutlass. What did you back fill the roof holes with before putting the fiberglass sheets on it?
