That sounds like a real nice engine! Tha'll move your car down the road nicely. What kind of price tag is attached to it?
 
I searched the product number and it's listed at $6,000 + :shock:

What do you think of that price? I was hoping it might be around $4,000 - 5,000 not $6,000 - 7,000.

Do you think it's a bit overpriced? I was glancing at this one site that was selling crate engines around $3,000 with what seems like pretty decent performance. But if I went with Edelbrock am I sort of paying for the name?
 
Check out Blueprint Engines on Summit or Jegs websites. They have a dressed out 355 that makes385 hp/ 405 lb-ft tq for less than $5,000. They have a 30 month/ 50,000 mile warrenty.
 
There you go! Thats better than the Edelbrock engine, pricewise anyway.
