I understand your pissed an want to Vent your frustration! But in the end it still comes to what can you do?

Everyone has been burnt in one way or another, it suck's sh*t but it's part of learning! So my advice, fix what you can fix in this whole ordeal and let the other stuff roll off your back. After this you won't be so trusting, so chalk it up to a learning experience!

By the way l'm Canadian!!
it was nothing with canadians trust me im in o way rasict brother it was just one person in particular who acts like he got a bad spine with me. sorry if i wrote it weong but never nothing against no one from canada or any thing i promise

Can you point out what I posted that was hateful?. Just because I don't pat your head and say everything is going to be ok doesn't mean I wasn't trying to help you until your attitude became ugly. You can make fun of my profession and I know that you are so much more intelligent than I am but then again you are the one with the problem, not me. Good luck with that and I wouldn't suggest you take this to court cause if a few words posted on a forum that you don't want to hear set you off you'll be destroyed in court even by someone old like me.
and you still on here huh ok bro u got it u win

At the risk of being called a hater

I posted early on in this thread, but deleted it hoping things would work their way out and settle down.

Emmanuel, I am going to guess based on your name and location that you are perhaps Hispanic. Which is fine with me, I work with several, and like every group of people, there are good and bad. I will also put forth the idea that perhaps English is not your first language, and again, that's fine, your english is better than my Spanish by quite a long ways. In fact, one regret I have is that I did not take Spanish in school, but I'm old, grew up in the upper midwest, and at the time didn't think I'd use it. Well, I was wrong there, that's for sure

I think some were rubbed the wrong way by your seeming indifference to the "rules" of the English language early on. For many of us, spelling, sentence structure, and punctuation are something we like to use to more clearly put forth a thought. I get that many younger people have grown up with text/IM/whatever shorthand, but it can be confusing for some that have not immersed themselves in that culture.

It is very hard on an internet forum to get a real sense of tone in a person's posts. I think most people would agree that most members will try to help where they feel they can.

A lot of the posters here have been here a long time and everyone is a little different in how they carry themselves on an internet forum. Steve (pontiacgp) can sometimes, to those that haven't been around a while, come off as a know it all. I think really he just is trying to point out things in a manner different than others do. I myself got tangled up with a new member a couple weeks ago over a post, which didn't end well. His first advice to you about the invoice info was sound, and believe it or not, he was looking out for your best interest.

There are enough people being jerks to each other in the real world, I'm hoping everybody can take a step back and get a fresh start.

Several people have given you good, sound, useful advice, and it's good to know about the shop you are/were using's shortcomings to perhaps keep someone else from becoming a victim of their inexperience.

Looking forward to seeing that 'vert back on the road

If your turbo doesn't work out, here is a 60K mile one for $500 on Ebay.

84 - 85 GN Turbo

I paid $400 for my TA49, and I wouldn't pay $500 for an '85 turbo, but if you want to keep your '85 GN stock and your '85 turbo smokes, you need a stock turbo that works... so what are gonna do.
