for some reason when i put the car on park it starts making noise like if its cammed and it paranoids the heck out of me cause i feel like the car feels like it wants to die....any suggestions?

before i took him to see the "grand national" doctor it was not doing that. now it is and its leaking oil where the engine and transmission meet 🙁

TPS and/or Idle air control might need to be reset. I don't know how to do that on an '85 but there is a std procedure for the intercooled motors to improve idle and not have it feel like it is constantly wanting to die.

You need to hook up with someone with a '85. All the '86/87 people will tell you is to pull it out and put in a 86/87 motor.
