CaliWagon emailed me a picture of his? dirty hands so I stopped my boycott.....
At least he didn't think there was a line going from the exhaust manifold to the EGR 😀

So...If we could stop talking about my mani for a second, wanted to update on the fuel line. I inquired again with Inline Tube after I found the custom fabrication portion of their site. Think I’m going to send it off to them to fab up a new one. Price didn’t seem that unreasonable.
I literally tossed this line in (perfect condition) out last week.
If you are going to pay someone to make you a fuel line for an engine you don't intend to keep - you shouldn't expect to have an LS-anything in there for quite some time. Damn, dude hit up Harbour Freight and NAPA and slap a solution together already.
