I recently bought some parts from an 80's camaro. Ac,power steering unit, steering gear and radiator. My question is what is the tube coming out of the radiator?

I believe that on some models, it carries coolant to the heating system. As far as I know, its not specific to a particular engine. If you purchase one of these radiators from the aftermarket, that outlet is generally capped off with a clamp on it, and that's how you'd normally use it on a G body.

If that isn't an overflow line then where is it? I don't see one and I know those cars had overflow tanks.

My guess it would have something to do with the fill/ burp on those old LT motors.

Basically correct It is a secondary flow path for the cooling system and the rear bypass tube. The cooling system hose setup on those Camaro's are a maze.
