Quick Performance axles are dirt cheap brand new. You can use the brakes if you want. There's a few write ups and videos on how to use them

thanks i found the axles from quick performance they don;t offer the stock wheel stud size will they take the stock mm12 -1.5 studs anyone know ?

My stock studs are 7/16, which they offer. But mine is a 79. Not sure if that changed in later years.

82 they switched to metric so i should just order the axles if the 12 mm don;t fit i can get 7/16 from the local parts store it looks like with the new rear and the axles with new bearing i;ll have everything just got to wait for warmer weather thanks for all your help

Be careful switching studs. Please guarantee that the knurling of the new studs is the correct size, as they're not all created equal and simply having the proper thread size is not enough.

Quick Performance axles come with some weird looking studs. The holes in the axle flange are huge and the studs taper down to size
