You think you might need a taller gear? 3.73's 3.42's to get more out of the cam? Sounds Good. You must live in an area with no smog either..

In NYC 25 years and older is exempt from emissions test. That's why I let my wagon sit for 3 years before registering it. :wink:

You mean a shorter gear?

3.42 1st gear x 3.08 Rear gear = 10.53 Any lower than this wouldn't be very good. This combo works very well and I'm already having traction problems.

Nope, no smog checks here. I can also get vintage tags for $85. Never have to pay registration fees ever again. Did this with my '70 Nova last year.
