I can't seem to find any info on it, though I'm mostly wondering about the factory color.

67L and 67U is the paint code. The L and U are lower and upper color. In your trim tag case both are the same. On a car that had two tone paint the 67 would be different numbers.

That's your "fisher body tag" on the cowl under the windshield.

The body number isn't the same as your Vin number, although the body number was assigned to the Vin build sheet later on.

It would tell the year, the first couple letters of the Vin telling the make and model, usually the build plant, the body assembly number (not last digits of vin), paint scheme, usually interior seat type, often the dates the body was assembled, and special model designations - like if you had a gn, 442, ss, z28, etc etc.

78 model year. 1 is Chevy, A is the body line, W27 is 2 door style. Then the Fisher Body number

62D is camel knit cloth
A52 Bench seat
67L/67U Lower and upper exterior colors- Saffron Metallic (maroonish)
11D is 4th week of November 1977 (1977 is deduced by the model year from September 77- August 78 for the 1978 model year)

That's what the body tag tells me.
