Yea i had to look at the pic cus i never seen both valve covers used ,looks like the.passenger side has the heat shield from the exhaust covering most of it

no I just meant that if the Qjet had an ID that would have come on an HO engine it would be another indicator that is could be an HO engine. And the carb is up top where its pretty ez to check the number.cutlassguy said:are you talking about my pics?

If you discover your car is fitted with one, remove it promptly and roll it off in some high weeds. Preferrably so that it lands with the intake facing up with the carb removed. This way it can rain in it.

Yep, the L69 also has larger jets in it carb, more aggressive spark timing programmed into the ECM's PROM chip, higher stall torque converter, and a higher flowing 4 bolt flange cat conveter. 190 HP in stock trim in good tune, can easily be bumped up to 250 HP in street legal trim.
