GhettoRacingKid I have the ground hooked up to the block of the motor and the alternator... My friend came over to check out my car and turns out i have a 383 stroker motor, i bought the car 3 month a ago and i had no idea.. All i did to it was paint it and put rims on it

The alt bracket or the output lug on the back?

The stock location for the ground is the alt bracket. It grounds the whole car or should. A chromed or painted mounting spot could cause a weak ground.

Im a firm believer in grounding. I have multi grounds off the battery to the frame, body etc.

There also should be a ground strap at the back of the motor attached to the firewall.

Nice. But is it running?

Once i get the car started im going to move the wires around and adjust the timing.. its defiantly a project

Nice. Projects are always fun. Painful at times but fun.

No luck yet brother, thank you for asking! i'm waiting for my buddy to bring me back my starter that he took to go get checked.... In the mean time I've been painting my interior flat black and I also cut a hole in the back quarter panels for some 6.5 speakers... Its been a lot of work.

Ahhhh.

Projects are fun. Maybe not at the moment but they are addicting. Alot of hard work and once you get some progress youll be like wow. Do more etc.

Kind of like tattoos

yeah that's for sure, there is always something new to do to it, i dont mind the 10 miles to the gallon hahaha... I rather have this car then a new model car... my first car was a 78 monte carlo so i've been a fan ever since... most people here in california turn them into lowrider but i just want to make it a muscle car
