we I have the intake adapter already but the A/C is a must...I may just stick with the stock carb I got a quote of $250 to redo the factory carb

Whats an average rebuild on a carb for a 307 around?

The last time I had a E4ME Quadrajet done was 12 years ago and I think it ran me $100. Shop around for a reputable shop and you should be able to get it done for less than $100 if you do your own R&R.
