So, quick question. Is the carpet cutouts for the seatbelts on 87 Cutlass same locations as the 442?

Meaning if I wanted to get nice used OEM carpet for the 442, would everything match up as far as the seatbelts?

I don't want to get something and then have to recut openings for the seatbelts and then have holes from the regular cutlass where it didn't line up.

Hope that make sense

Should be the same...only difference is if you get carpet from a column shift car it won't have cutouts for the floor shifter. As long as the donor carpet comes from a split bench the holes will line up.

Yeah, was expecting the floor shift to column shift being different. Just wasn't sure about the mounting holes for seatbelts.

Thanks

Floor/mount/bolt all the rest will be identical, same mounting locations and parts between the cars.

What you need to be careful of is a brougham trim level donor - the floor carpet and the lower door panel could, like a regal vs regal limited, have a different non matching pile height

That wasn't the case with Cutlass, only with Regals.
