I used an older Camaro console for my Monte and modified it to fit, I thought about cupholders but I am always drinking a 32oz Gatorade so I mounted a giant quart size cupholder on the back of the console facing the rear seat since I felt a hole that big in my console would look ridiculous. And my passengers have to hold their own refreshments with a screw on cap being required.

What year Camaro that console come out of,What was modified ?

Finally got mine done.i may paint the console burgundy to match an install carpet on it,id like to "later on down the road" put the e brake in it

somebody recommended to me a Dodge Neon console.

The front is fairly generic but it looks like it will have the e-brake slot to deal with.

I went to the junk yard the other week an i remember reading this post.There is a Monte up there an there just happen to be a Neon close by with the console out.So i took the seats out of the Monte to see for my self what it would looked like in there.The console sat way too low an didn't look right maybe it was just because no seats in there. but i would suggest to anyone NOT to use a Neon console
