changing steering boxes?

what are the pros of changing steering boxes? ive seen a couple people on here talking about switching to camaro steering boxes?

Faster ratio. It takes it from 3.5 turns lock to lock, to 2.25 turns. If you do so, be sure to use the G body pitman arm as the F body arm will make the tie rods rub the frame. The con is the Camaro boxes have thicker stops internally, and can make it have a very big turning circle. However, this can be a benefit if you are running wide front tires as it will keep it from rubbing.
