thanks LSCustoms..it's not finished yet but then it'll never be.. 🙂

and khan, the only trim that is black is the trim around the quarter panel window. The wheel opening trim and trim along the bottom of the car is removed and aside from the grill and lower middle section of the front bumper that is black all the trim was separately based and cleared the same as the car.

Great looking car. I too have always been curious what your car looked like.

Also impressed to finally see the car behind the man, looks Phenominal, no lies. very well done sir

Beautiful car, i actually never seen a better stance on a GP. I am not a fan of GPs at all but i definitely wouldn't have a problem owning one that looked like this. You should be flaunting this thing in your signature or avatar or sumthing. Hope to see alot more of your car in a future Thread...

I'm really appreciate the compliments. I just have fun doing different things with this car and I do it to satisfy me. I had some friends and even my kids who kept on asking why I was going to get rid of all the chrome and paint the car a matte color. They didn't think a car this style would look good like that but just about all of them have changed their opinion. I get quite a few looks travelling on the roads but I really enjoy driving this car, it is reasonably quick, handles nicer the faster you go, it's a stick and a t-top. Life is good.. 🙂

So do you have the same rims on all 4 corners or did you need a different backspace for the rears? Any rubbing?
'64 to '67 A-body rear end should all be the same, right? The stance looks PERFECT.

Thanks for posting this. It keeps ppl like me from having to ask lots of redundant questions

Good looking G you have there.
My 8.2 I picked up a while back will hopefully be going in the 87 in the future, after I determine the weldabiity of the pumpkin...I don't think it will be an issue though.

thanks for the compliment....64-67 is the same width. I have the same backspacing (4.5") on the 4 corners and each rim is 8" wide with the same size tires all way around. I used the 67 so I could use the same wheel on each corner. The front is kicked out a bit cause I use 2nd gen camaro spindles Just with the slight difference in where the tires sit helps to stabilise the car and with the chevelle rear the wheels sit nicer in the wheel opening.

I have to mention again JBrue who is running a 12 bolt really helped me out with immensely with info so the conversion went smooth....
