almost there on my swap with parts.

I know the 4.3 is basically a v8 with out 2 cylinders.

are the motor mounts the same also? (ones on the frame & on the motor) or would I need to find some from a V8 monte?

asked a few people & seem to get different answers alot. Just ready to get a move on with this project lol. Gotta rent a picker so I wanted to have everything at once .

What I have so far, is that the mounts on the motor are not the same, but the mounts on the frame are the same. but they may need to be moved to the back holes on the frame?

anyone more familar if this is true or not?

4.3 is the same as a gen 1 SBC. You should do fine with 350 mounts, is it not fitting?

I'd get new frame mounts from advance or autozone($20). Then they will go in hole that are farther forward than the 4.3 mounts(i know someone has a pic of this). I can't remeber if the block side of the mounts worked or not though.

getting ready to take it out this weekend, everything is already disconnected. just that I have to rent my picker. so when I take it out, I can drop the 350 on the same day. so I wanted to have everything ready

that's what I thought, lol. That engine is like a 350's little twin. Very nice choice, what heads do you have?
