Classic car dilemma...

The Trans Am series car would be pretty cool. I would say, if you have the funds to build a Camaro and keep the Camaro then do it. If you are looking to build the Camaro and sell it, stay away from it :!:

I'd remove the SS gas cap so no one "borrows" it, put it away in a place you'll remember and replace with a plain cap for now.

You guys have given me a whole lot of point of views and i must admit i really wanted to jump in headfirst and try to get the Camaro.... BUT as Driven and and other members have pointed out i need to get some priorities figured out first. My Buddy decided to try to fix and flip cars but he ran out of $$ in his venture.... He did manage to pick up a few rides and has a few projects left now. He is basically trying to get them done so he could sell them and make some $$. He was been burned by a "friend" of his who took another 69 Camaro and additional parts to get it done and disappeared and along with a few other bad decisions have left in a bad spot. So back to the present he just wants to try it again with somebody who follows through and gets stuff done.. After talking to him and showing what i was doing to my GP he was interested in what i was doing to my car and the amount of work i have put in it. So he asked if i wanted to try this out, i figure why not?? So I initially went to look at a 02 Pontiac TA that needs to be repainted and put back together for sale but the Camaro caught my eye. He has the 68 Camaro, 02 TA, 70 Cutlass Convertible, and a 89 Iroc which i believe he sold already. Now i'm going to get together with him and figure out the specifics first before i pull the trigger. For now i'm going to start concentrating again on my GP hopefully... I think if i get it done first then i could start something else. If i could manage to pick up the Camaro then i'm going to try to store it and start work on it after i finish the GP also i did tell him if that i picked it up i'm not paying close to what he has invested in it! He could take out the engine and trans and reduce the price further seeing as most of his cash is in the motor. I also told him if i picked it up it would be something for me and therefore flipping it wouldn't be a option seeing as as stated before it would be a labor of love! I did price out quarters and fenders and OUCH! I want it though seeing as the aftermarket support is there and they are pretty cool! The TransAm racer idea would be SICK!! Let me see how this turns out and will keep you guys posted1
