Just the classic cars. I haven't bothered with checking into the "insure everything" plan. I just may, though. They came out with that long after I was a customer. State Farm has done that trick for seemingly ever. I remember when I got my 85 442 and State Farm allowed me to insure it full coverage part time with comp while in storage when I went out to sea. I was on a ballistic missile submarine, and that on crew/off crew schedule was pretty much set in stone. Saved a few bucks, but they knew with my schedule that car wasn't going anywhere while I was gone.Cool thanks. So do you have all your cars with them or just the classics? I see they offer home owners, motorcycles, etc.. The good thing about state farm is the withdrawal from use. For those of us that can't drive year round, We can withdrawal the vehicle from use for winter and still keep plates on it. They give you a reduced rate while it's in storage. And still have comp on it.
But I think with even the rates State Farm may give you in the off season, Grundy's year round coverage may be more cost effective. Pay the annual premium and forget it the rest of the year. I think State Farm is 6 months. And if you don't think they'll jack that rate up when you ain't looking...think again.
