is there any trick with keeping all 4 running on hi? ive heard some people have issues when they go hid with the lows cutting out when the hi beams cut on.

gotcha. but my concern is how come some people end up having the lows cut off even though there supposed to stay on, could it be because they are using bixenon low beams, or is it something else?
 
the headlight switch i believe has a c/b or a thermal switch or something, once that wire get hot or draw too much current it will shut off, my H-4s did that, I'm sure the H-4 draw more current
 
yeah h4 is 55-60 watt for a normal bulb and you can get some nice osrams around 80-100w. thats what im trying to decide on some high powwer osrams or hid. the only nice thing about sticking halogen is thats what the housings were designed for
