I found a 134a rated R-4 compressor in the junkyard that is a Delphi rebuild today. However, they wanted $35 for the compressor and another $20 for the clutch. Since it was a serpentine belt car, I saw no need to buy both items together, but I do not know how to get them apart. What is a good way to separate the two without damaging the compressor? Also, can I just re-use my V belt clutch on the serpentine compressor? They seem to be the same exact part dimensionally, and I have my doubts that GM changed the housing from model to model.
