9-Inch Vs. 12-Bolt Rearend Compararison - I'm for the nine inch and run one in my dragster and S-10 truck I'm building. There is many upgrades for the 9 - case, bolt through, daytona pinion, bearing size, back brace, spline count. The nine is bolt in and you won't need offset wheels. Some purest won't run a ford rear end in their GM. The 12 bolt is an excellent rear end and you are going to have to make the choice on what you want. Not trying to talk you into anything.
