I had this problem 20 years ago...before there were pre-made lowering springs...

i may upgrade the arms to tubular further down the line. the moogs are 33 bucks each. the globals are 69 bucks each. i was just curious if the global shafts were worth double the price or if the benefits are no different then moogs with offset . everything on my front suspension is at 98,000 thousand miles and original. it is all pretty tired.i will be doing new bolts and all. next is to figure out exactly how i want to lower it verses cost.
I bought my uppers from Speedway. They were $49 each. They also sell ones with aluminum crossshafts for $42 each. They are meant for circle track cars and are two different lengths, but it says on their site you can buy two of one side and flip them, which is what I did and I bought some Moog upper ball joints. They come powdercoated.

I already ordered the parts i needed except the bolts. the speedway arms look nice but i have read a mix of good and bad about the life span and adjustment issued for a regular use street car. the aluminum cross shaft arms i would not feel comfortable using on the street. once the funds allow i will upgrade to a good quality control arm set

Yeah I can see that. I went with the steel cross shaft for that reason. Mine won't be regular use on the street. I am using those and stock lowers until I can afford the Trz upper and lowers and a coilover set.
