Reminds me of the day I actually settled the deal on my GP.

Keep in mind, this car is 600 miles away, Ive only seen pictures at this point.

Talked to the guy Thursday about the car.. asked detailed questions, some of which he didnt have the answer to, so he was going to get back to me Friday.
He actually did get back to me Friday, questions answers were good. We talked money.. I had a number in mind, he has his asking price. I said "look, I have number in mind, lets just not do this whole back and forth thing.. just give me your bottom dollar on it, and we will see if that number is what I had in mind and go from there"

He gave me his number, and it was Below mine, so I said ok, thats a deal - barring it being a rust bucket underneath, structural damage not seen in pics, etc..
Didn't see the wife Friday Nite, so I didn't talk to her.. she got home after I was already asleep.
Woke up Saturday morning, she was in bed.
I went to the kitchen and made coffee.
Brought a cup for her, just the way she likes it, into the bedroom.
Gently nudged her with the coffee close to her nose..

"Honey... here, wake up.. you have to get up.. drink this we're leaving soon"

"wha.. oh.. okay whats going on where are we going"

I said "Ohio" and left the room. 😀
