crankshaft bolt

i put the wrong bolt in my crankshaft and now it s stripped? tried redrilling it and put a heli coil in it. didnt work! was thinking of rethreading it bigger but dunno if that s what i should do? lemme know what u guys think!!! thanks

Theres a helicoil kit built for crankshafts

i got the kit but the bolt still slips looks as if the balancer is backing off from the timing tab when i go to set the timing!

did you have the right tap for the helicoil ?

Yep tap and coils come together at autoparts store!

maybe a dumb question but you are using the right bolt for the helicoil thread...

Turns out my key way was getting caught up so I I have to sand it to make my balancer fit. I thought it was on all the way cause the installer tool snapped so thatgs why it was backing off. Going to rethread and get it back on!
