Will be used as a daily driver I’ve been looking into either roller one or regular ol 350 thanks to the guys who did have recommendations very much appreciated will be posting pics soon!
What's your budget and skill level? If you have skills, tools and knowledge you can get a long block and add your cam, intake and carb. Then install it yourself. I'm not that guy. I want an easy button so I'm looking for a turnkey solution, or for a tech to do it for me.

For a driver, this is a great deal. 300+HP with a 3yr warranty from GM.

Swap in a cam and headers and make 350hp all day. Very difficult to beat it. I'd always recommend 383, but for a true daily driver, a genuine 350 Vortec is very diffcult to beat. There are cheaper options in the rebuilt optiotn, but I strongly urge you avoid flat tappet cam or smog heads. They are under performers IMO.

That is now on my option list. But this is what I have been looking at.

Having a forged crankshaft, hypereutectic pistons, roller cam and 9.4 compression make the first engine a better option IMO and you can buy the GM accessory set up by itself and add it.
You can probably upgrade the cam to certain level for more power depending on the spring specs.

And....... Any details? Pros and Cons? Would you recommend it or buy it again?
Im finishing up the small stuff now. Pros, everything new. Cons, some things that I didnt plan well bit me in the butt. Had to rewire all of the engine and AC harness. Had to modify a Holley bracket for the throttle cable and TH350 kickdown. AC lines are different. You can see some photos of things I did in the build thread for my wagon. Look in the wagon section for the thread with my name. I would use the same motor if I did it again.

Sorry for the late response, I know the basics of keeping a engine running lol. I plan to throw something in that’s turnkey or close to that and rebuild my 305 for the hell of it so I can learn some more about engines.
