looking good! i had a mustang like that once. it was a 97 v6 convertable and it was red. i got SOOOO many tickets from that car. ended up smashing it inna tree. the tree destroyed the frontend and i got a tick for "damage to village property" for taking off a piece of bark from the tree that was 1"x2". its a $75 ticket. that was 12 years ago last winter. now i drive a plastic car, go figure!

thats looking good, except the rear frame rot....thats gonna be a P.I.T.A. to get fixed right. and nice fotochops, looking good.

I think I'll go with a more retro/classic look for the interior. So what do you think about a 59/60 impala steering wheel? I thought it would look cool with the matching dashboard in the car.. I found a smaller aftermarket look-a-like in 15" diameter:

but I don't know if that steering wheel would bolt on my 79 monte steering column...?

i say go for it as far as the steering wheel. It might have the same spline, but if not, you might be able to find a way to adapt it.
