wow thats awesome fe3x, where did u get the little plastic arrow and bright light pieces, and how did you get the bulbs to stay in? Ive got a rally gauge cluser im wanting to install, but i might try to do this instead 🙂

They're just LED's I bought from an online electronics store. The ones I bought though don't seem to be made anymore. But with these you just drill a hole in the panel and insert the LED. The body of the LED is threaded and there's a nut that you screw on to tighten it to the panel.

Oh yeah, also, for hooking up the fuel gauge, can you use the existing fuel gauge wire, or did you have to do some new wiring?

For all the wiring of the new gauges I used the existing dash wiring. Well, except for power and grounds. But for the water temp, oil pressure, fuel level, turn signals, brights, etc. I just removed the wires from the stock connector, soldered on a few leads to lengthen the wires and then installed the Deustch connectors so that I could easily remove the cluster from the dash.

Got one more for ya fe3x, what did you use to adhere the gauges to the aluminum plate you cut?

Whatever gauges you buy will have their own mounting system. On the Classic Instruments they have what most gauges have. It's just a U-shaped aluminum piece that bolts to the back of the gauge and tightens down against the back of the gauge panel.

Nice. They really look like they belong in your olds. They remind me of the early regals 3 gauge cluster with the brushed aluminum faces.

ok see how you did that.... doesnt seem to hard just the wiring might be tricky
