I have had my share of lowriders but I think it is starting to be played out now. The guys with rims bigger than 22's just look overdone. I see so many of the "donks" like that on the streets, they look good 30 feet away and they run like crap. Why people fix up the outside of their car first, gets me? Also this guy put a lot of work into his car and left the air / heater box in??????

Well for some of us lowriding is in the blood not simply a trend, a fad, or something that gets "played out". My car is just a clean street cruiser with 35,000 original miles, and it runs excellent. I would never remove my heater box because my car is driven in the cold and rain. Yes there are people who focus on how the car looks and they give that car culture a bad name, but if you see those same people a few yrs later they are usually jumping on the next new thing to do to their cars.

You will always have people who have greater/less attention to detail in every car culture. I have stopped at a local big wheel/donk car show and seen nothing but junk cars with huge wheels. I've also seen lowriders with no reinforcements and/or run like crap. Hot rods that look and run like crap, and they are the first ones to rev their engines just because they have glasspacks or no mufflers at all. It is easier to see/point out issues others have than it is in your own home so to say.

?

I'm confused lol.

Whats with the stance in most of these "big wheelers". Looks like almost nobody can nail the even stance all around. Looks like they are hauling around a load of junk in the trunk...

And I personally the malibus look horrible with big wheels. Theres just something about them. I can deal with the montes and cutlasses... sometimes... maybe

That's the stance that's right now. Nobody wants to sit high anymore. That stance came from and was made famous by the real Donks, 1971-1976 Chevy Impalas & Caprices. That's how the sit on big wheels. It looks like your always on the gas hard coming down the street. That's the final stance I hope to get for my Cutlass. Do you have any pics or anything positive to add to this thread sir?

I like the "stance" on my car, It's sits pretty level and is lower than it was stock.... Granted I'm only rolling 20's but some considor them "big wheels" Hell I've been told my cars a donk on here before without me even posting pics of it before just because it has 20's....

Anyhow here's a couple pics... Don't look like a "donk" to me
