Very Nice !!! any special modifications made to fit those tires and what size are they. Mark

Thanks.
They are Torque Thrust II's 17x8 4.5 inch backspace all the way around.
Tires are front 245/45r17 rear 275/40r17.
No fittment issues yet. I have lowered the car a little more since, but its been on jack stands for the past 2 years.
I have a second set of the exact same wheels, gonna mount my slicks on them.

Although a cheby would have been a hell if a lot cheaper.

But it would've been lame. You made the right choice.

I had to notch the crossmember on the drivers side to fit the exhaust, and flatten the top of the pipe a little but i am running 3 inch all the way back. The hardest part for me was fitting Hookers engine swap headers for my olds 455 to breath a little.

Looks good. What size tires do you have on the front? Maybe that's your problem. I have 215 65 15s and the tires only rub on the sharpest of turns, usually the kind you have to make when you fail to plan ahead and you box yourself in. Anyway, when it happens, I just think to myself, that's happening because I have a 455 with headers in a G-body. 😀 Suddenly, it's all good.

Ha yeah I have told myself the same thing a time or two. I am running 215/65/15s up front and 255/60/15s in the rear. The only time they touch is when i try and park in a spot... usually a mile away from the door dingers, or when i turn sharp, but the car goes straight really good  . I don't know how much lowering the car hurt my turning also, it is about 2 1/2in lower then stock after the springs settled. What mufflers are you running on yours? What size pipes do you have?

Your car looks really nice. I have Thrush Super Turbos with 2 1/2" pipe exiting under the car. At the time I made the system, I needed cheap and quick. I had just bought the car and the engine and just wanted to get it on the road. I've thought about extending it or doing something else, but it really doesn't cause any problems as far as exhaust gas intruding into the car, and it sounds pretty good. My front end is a bit low right now, not quite as low as yours, but close. I'm going to be replacing the springs, I'll take a look at it and see if ride height has any impact on the interference. I kind of don't think so, that pipe that runs outside the frame is pretty much vertical. A-arm length and geometry may come into play, but I would think only at the extremes of travel.

you have a nice cutlass as well @Intargration. Yeah that would make sense that lowering it might not make that much difference. The difference it does make is i have grazed the drivers side header going over a speed bump or two 😢 But thats what i get for going low.

Hooker headers out to a Gforce crossmember, or an Iceman now. Goes into a true dual setup 2.5" Pypes setup all the way to the ends, and it does sound badass.
