Cutlass front spoiler options

Kinda hard to see but i had a 69 chin spoiler (air dam) on my old cutlass. Bolted straight to the stock holes on the rad support. It was much more noticeable in person.

I’m getting this for my current cutlass.

Edit: this is the Camaro air dam

There we go, found it. It's a malibu but it might be some inspriation. Post 9

Just a thought. Wouldn't you want the deflector to direct the air into the radiator? Even the El Camino airdam attaches just below the radiator support forward of the radiator, directing air into the radiator. It does serve a purpose.

Yeah, I've also seen the early S-10 airdam used. It's also flexible. I think it's a viable option.

Thats why when I did the Camaro air dam I put under the rad. Looked a lot better on bumper. I had a rowdy sbc and was worried about over heating in our cool south FL weather. It ran noticeably cooler with that Camaro air dam.

Squarebody S10 spoiler($12 at LKQ) just clamped on fenders and balanced on bumper for width check. A little too narrow for my tastes, so I got another and will try to split, rejoin and make one wider. Would like end angles to match fender angles.

I have the GbodyParts front spoiler on my Regal and I think it looks good and IMO for an 81' and up Cutlass you need something similar that is mounted directly under the bumper and not set back like a radiator air dam to look right

yeah man, this is EXACTLY what I am looking for, for my Cutlass. I wonder if I could get this piece to fit? I do wish it was about half the height, and a little more subtle. Either way, this piece is what's missing on the Euro cutlass front ends. Even when they are lowered, the front appears to be too high off the ground, in my opinion, as seen on my cutlass:

I made a simliar one to the Camaro, it seemed to help with cooling after I put the electric fans on. Still might try a Chevy truck one to see what it would look like, but not sure about the $50 gamble. I've not found them as cheap as the S10 ones. This is an older picture, but shows it well.
