Cutlass grille question

I have a 79 Supreme, and the grills are missing a couple of fins. I found a pair from a 78 online, and quickly learned that while they look the same, they're much smaller. Another guy was selling one from a 79, supposedly, but told me they were 14" wide, while mine are just over 15"

Here are the part numbers on mine:
557329 LH
557328 RH

Are these correct for a 79? I need at least a LH!

I'm measuring the grille from edge to edge. I assume he's doing the same, but he's across the country, so I don't know. His grille also has a different part # on it -- 561597

Message him asking for pics of how he's measuring. On the pn thing that could just be a dif pattern grill

I actually have another set of "waterfall" grilIes that i bought that are too small, about 14 inches across, like this guy is selling. I dug them out and they are pn 561596 and 561597.

Wondering if my 79 has a 78 header panel in it, or something. My grilles have a light blue stripe down the center, though the car is black and was black from the factory.
Anyone know about 78-79 parts enough to help?

That is a 78 Grill. 78 were the only one with the body matching color stripes.

Thanks; I had a suspicion that's what happened. Apparently, at some point in the last 38 years, my 79 got a 78 header panel.

The '78 models have three grille lines while the 79 have two if that makes sense, so the the 78 model should be wider...there's different header panels for cutlass calais as well and for the cutlass cruisers...it can get quite confusing.
