looks interesting! keep it going! love your hood scoop

I'm too far to go back now!

I was talkin with my neighbor the other day, we decided I should duck tape the lid down and cut a hole in the front of the trash can lid and put some mesh in it. I'll get a picture of that whenever I get around to it 8)

The plan is to get a 4" cowl hood once I've had my fun with the trash can.

Sick *ss build bro this is what I had in mind for my cutlass as well. I wanted a custom mess grill in the front with fe3x bumper. Anyway I'm not going to cut the front of my baby anymore but I'm pretty sure I'll do the front bumper. By the way how much did that run you shipped if you don't mind saying, you can always drop me a pm with the info thanks and I'll keep watching

Thanks deezy! It was an ongoing thing to decide I wanted to cut up the front end, it'll turn out nice in the end tho. I'll send you a PM

how are things going?

hey guys thanks for the comments.

I threw out the header panel :wtf: I know it was a ton of work.

But I threw it out for this:

It's hard to tell from this pic, but the entire front header panel on that pro front end is moved back an inch or two from an original car, its the only way I could fit it, so from the side it gives it a bit different look, sort of sleeker. Of course thats only if you're familiar with the car, if not it looks the exact same.

Looking at the pictures I really liked the header panel I was working on, if yall get a chance try it out. But it was sooo heavy with all the fibergalss, in the end it wasn't what I was wanting on the car.

And because I can't leave well enough alone, there will be some neat things happen to that front end. My goal is to get it super smooth. I don't know if I'm going to run any radiator grille or not. I doubt it'll have a grille at all when its done, it may have some other way of getting air in there. I'm going to have to work on the cooling system too. Trying to actually make this thing aerodynamic. It will look more like the real fe3x header panel in the end, with headlights of course... who knows I'm ADD

I also have a set of these headlights:

one is installed and it looks amazing. I'm not going to use those blinkers though, dunno what I'm going to do for blinkers. The other well thats when I threw in the towel and started work on my truck. But I'm getting interested in the cutlass again since it can now be inspected (at some point).

Right now I'm hustling about 1500$ worth of crap around my garage to get a hood, and a few pieces from Angelo/fe3x concepts, and get it on the road with inspection.

I'll trade my fairly new professionally built silverado 3.90/truetrac (drum brakes) for yours + 600$ if you're in the houston area. Preferably a 3.08/3.23/3.42.

here are the new lights and bumper cover mocked up. The lights are nice, they just attached the wrong car to them stock 😛

For some reason theres a gap now between the fiberglass bumper and the front end... that wasn't there a few months ago. Maybe the front end shrank a little heating up and cooling down.

No big deal, once its all bolted in I'll just go over that gap all the way with some silicone and it'll look nice

the reason I didn't stay with stock style lights- I got these for 30$ shipped to my door on ebay. I need some bulbs and sockets which will be about 80$ more. New sealed beam light kits were around 60$ and would've required about the same effort as these, since it all has to be made new with that front fiberglass.

What should I do with the grille area?
Need suggestions here. Im thinking about leaving it just like that and upgrading the cooling system, also thinking of cutting some out and smoothing out the rest, but it would take away a lot of definition to the front end.

Pretty cool.

Your FE3X air dam looks like it fits pretty decent. Does it fit snug to the body on both sides?

I had a problem with my rear FE3X valance. It looks like it was made about 4" too wide. Luckily its just fiberglass so I cut it in half to fit the car better.
I'm hoping my front air dam fits better than the rear valance did.

Yes the air dam was really snug. If you notice the pictures before it has bolts in it, where there no boxes underneath... that's how snug it fit it literally just hung there I could've drove it slow around the block.

It's too bad about the rear, hope the one I order fits better. Maybe not since they're probably all the same mold.

Decided to bolt it in the way I did so it has a little impact resistance, didn't bolt it directly to the steel bumper it has little plastic brackets, the idea is the plastic will flex some if someone hits it in a parking lot or it rolls forward into something somehow. won't prevent it from shattering in a wreck of course
