Cutlass Supreme Exhaust System Questions

I had already ordered up the Gbody ones at that point. Looking at the reviews on Summit for the Abody parts it looks like some mods are needed to use on a Gbody too.

The Driver Manifold was a direct bolt on, the passenger's side is at an angle. From what I've read about the Abody Olds Pypes DPs on Summit is they need massaging for the Gbody too. Probably would've worked out perfect if I could have ordered 1 chevy DP and 1 A body DP! The local exhaust does great work and is super cheap. I had a full 2.5" cat back built for my Jeep and it was $80! So I don't think he'll charge me too much to hack off the flange and tig it up at the correct angle.
For that price, go for it. I got charged almost $600 for 2.5" tail pipes for my A body, never again!

That's insane! I only paid $160 for mine....
I agree, I didn't realize he was quoting per side and then went way over that amount! I could have got the Stainless Flowmaster tail pipes shipped and me installing for about $400 less!

on my olds 455 swap i'm using factory olds manifolds with these downpipes: http://pypesexhaust.com/i-12200756-78-88-g-body-chevy-small-block-2-5-downpipes-2-bolt-dgu10s.html everything bolted up just fine, then got a summit stainless x pipe. still haven't decided what mufflers i'll be running yett and if i want to do a ground bump after the muffler or get a set of over the axle pipes, but there are manufactures that make just stainless tail pipes for the g-body. the company i was looking at was mandrelbendingsolutions.com .

Pretty sure those down pipes were the ones tried by rogue_ryder and one needed modified, interesting.

Ok so I have NOT modified anything YET when it comes to the DPs. The drivers side is low because of the cross member. You either run it like this or modify the Xmember. I will probably do that in the future. Passenger side is good because the xmember is made to clear the stock single exhaust.
