Dash noises

Im finally fed up with my Dash. In the mornings when its cold theres a squeaky noise coming from my dash squeaks faster while i accelarate and after a while it goes away. Also on every bump the dash creaks.. What causes this? Am I the only one with these issues? Any fixes?

put some grease on the rubber on middle hood support...that is probably where it's coming from

I have heard that it is actually the windshield that is making that "so common" noise

I had the same problem with my dash and got the fix I suggested from another member...and it worked

If the squeak is still there it may also be your speedo cable. I know mine is real noisy when I'm driving early in the morning when its -30 C. I find a bit of bicycle grease in the connection works wonders on such issues. As for the windshield issues I am gonna try the grease trick cause mine always clatters when going over ruts.

True about the speedcable....mine is making this whinning noise and its making my needle on the speedometer jump around, and these are my new autometer gauges too dayum it!!!! lmao

But i had the same problem with the stock gauge set-up as well...and speed cable is new...transmission speedgear housing is new, new rear gears...idk what else to think is wrong with it..but vic....ck the cable to make sure as well..

Might try adding an extra ground form engine to body. I have seen then welded or messed up because the only other route was through the drive-shaft, most every thing else is mounted in rubber...transmission lines(radiator) and linkage, throttle linkage, trans mount, crossmember, motor mount, suspension, even the springs, shocks, exhaust....For the speedo cable messing up.

My car was never quiet enough to hear the squeaks, must be nice...!
