Deleting all emblems on car

I'm thinking about deleting all emblems on my Olds when I get it repainted in the near future. The car is a 1985 Cutlass Brougham which is a one owner 51,000 mile Olds. The paint is great right now but my wife wants it black so I'm thinking about deleting all the emblems to give it a sleeper look. The plan is to install Weld Drag Stars with 275's out back and skinnies up front with a cowl hood. Thoughts? The car is a burgundy red color right now, oh, just one question. Where could I find a black vinyl top? Thanks

If your top is still in decent shape you should be able to get it dyed black for way less than the cost of replacing it.

Would that interior vinyl dye that year one sells work? If so that sounds like a plan because the top is great. I wish I could post some pics on here, do I have to host them somewhere then use a URL?
