I would go about what G Body Vet said, make sure the power cable to the starter is good. Its not hard, especially with headers to burn the cable

Ya Ill check it out...but would that cuase it to just stop running while running at 40mph? Becuase it just shut off. One person thoguht it might be the oil pump? That sounds reasonable...again I have no idea...I'm excited to tear it apart and figure it out.

Also heard mabye I floated a valve or something? Oh well, its always ssomething..I'll try to get pics tonight or tomorrow and post them up so you guys can see it.

Theres a link from the starter to the fuse box aka ignition that I have seen go. you will have power in the car but not for you ignition.

Before you start going nuts tearing things apart I'd also look for corrosion at the battery posts (assuming it's a side post battery). Merely eyeballing it doesn't tell you anything. I've seen a lot of cables that look fine until you disconnect them and then you see all of the powdery crud inside the terminal. That's another common problem that gets over looked pretty frequently. You will have power to the rest of the car but not enough juice to spin the starter. Worth a look since it's easy.
