Has any one had to remove a dipstick from a 5.3, looking for som ideas been soaking it but no use

Unbolt the 15mm bolt from the passenger head that hooks to the black dipstick tube bracket.
Grab the dipstick tube and pull it up. It should pull right out.
There is a small o-ring around the base of it that enters into the block. That is the resistance that you feel.
Pull and twist don't jiggle.
They break easy.
Once it is out get a new one to put back in.
