I am rustoring my 79 MC, doors are pretty bad, but i do know of some '73 doors nearby.
Question can i use '73 doors to substitute the doors of my '79 MC ?
these are the doors of the '73

Thanks John

Thats not the answer i was hoping to hear, i cant get doors here in the Netherlands or even in Europe for that matter. the ones i own are worthless, and require a weld-a-thon to get them a bit decent.
thanks John

Skin will be different but the 81-88 will bolt on just not line up

You need 78' - 80' doors only to be a direct fit and have the body lines line up.
They sell new lower inner and outer door patches to repair the common issue of door bottoms rotting out but are only for the 81'-88' doors but you might be able to modify them to fit your earlier door.
