Is this something that's been going on with your motor for a while or did you change something then started fouling plugs?
Have you tried one step hotter spark plugs?

a rebuild was completed on it like this past august or september. it would smoke a small bit then clear up so we attributed to break-in. I often crank it up to let it run awhile then maybe take it down the street a pass or two w/ no problems. A few weeks ago it started and idled fine and I went to make a pass & it killed on me & wouldn't start back. My distributor had loosened. We bumped it just a hair and it started right back up seemingly fine just as it had been doing other times before. Times after this seems when problems have shown up though. It killed a week or so later in the same way but this time the distributor was tight. After noticing it getting good amounts of gas to the carb, we pulled a plugged and sure enough they had fouled out. I replaced them with the same plugs its always ever used NGK V-Power TR55 Part#: 3951. A fairly hot-plug as recommended by a local machine shop. It has the same plug wires its always ever used ACCEL 8.8mm yellow wires. Although my headers have scorched a couple of these wires' insulation now I've noticed since replacing the plugs. So I'm definitely going to change those and try to prevent this from happening in the future. I'm running a slighty older-style Demon 650 vac. sec. w/ electric choke(that isn't operable). I couldn't decide on a 650 or 750 Demon so this one became available to me first so I'm kinda using it as a guinea pig & found that others running a similar setup to my engine build used the 650 w/ good results. It wasn't a new carb and could possibly need rebuilding and tuning as it may be loading up the plugs making the car give off bluish-smoke. I also intend on replacing it as well just to have the more up-to-date Demon 650 and make all components on the motor new as a precaution.

I'd replace those wires at once (but not with Accel's) and do a rebuild on that carb.
If you haven't already done so you might also want to close the TR55's gap down to .045, or replace them with TR5's and open the gap to .045.

I run the #906 Cast-Iron 2.02 Vortec heads and have been told that they need a .060 gap.

It has nothing to do with the heads. It's more about the ability (Power) of the ignition system to fire that gap.
If all you have is an HEI with an aftermarket coil or something like that I'd back down the gap.
If you can reliably fire a larger gap at upper rpm's it'll make more power but It's hard on the plug wires and the coil.

@thrasher Thanks for your help. You as well as others are telling me to close my gap from .060 to .045-.050. I will be trying this soon as to definitely not ruin a good motor.
