Just wondering, as to what if any kind of name or nick name you may have for your ride. My wife wanted to name my 80 GP but I forbade it.. Let me know

i like to give my cars girls names my last two mustangs were lexy and jenna... My cutlass so far i just call it the slowham

I'm the same and do not name vehicles, but i have many friends and family who do.
Some times the nickname has to do with the color of car, model name, etc.

I call the 78 Camino Shady Grady and the 81 cutlass my first true love

..............Miss Elky

I usually just call them what they are, but they do all have a given joke name.

Malibu: Even though I've tried to change it, my buddies who named it back in highschool, still call it, The Mirthmobile, the jerks  I blame them for my amc fixation.

Jeep: Freekee, Freebie, it's a bit of a freak, and cherokee.

Red Eagle: Red Headed Stepchild, was beaten, abused, hacked together, abandon, given away, and my gf has many choice words for it, (in other words no love for the Ginger car).

Blue Eagle: I call it a chick magnet, I don't know why, but women just love that thing  .

That's pretty funny... My forst car was a 1980 AMC concord 2 door, and my buddy called it the white stallion out of sarcasm, but I tell ya though that little thing with that 258 straight 6 4.0, moved when I needed it to, and alot of people underestimated it. Dont get me wrong it looked like a grandma car, but I blew the doors off of some ricers with that thing! LOL

My current 80 GP LJ though, at least by my kids has been called The Long John because of the stetson tan paint scheme and root beer brown quarter top and the LJ badge. But I advised them of my rule of my cars having to have a chick name and they say they are working on it, but I hope they just give up. I just usually call it Gertrude, cause its an old name and my car hates the cold like she has arthritis!

My first car, a '69 Nova, was known as "The Luby" which came from the dealer's emblem on the rear.
My Monte is "Dad's Stupid Car" thanks to Mrs. Grabwell and our daughters. Click link in signature for the results.
