Pro-touring.com might be a better place to check. They were very hyped up.

Where did you find them half price? once i'm done with my LS Swap I want to run them along with SPC adjustable control arms. The arms make a HUGE difference from a SS Monte my buddy had. 8) The spindles do look sweet too!

I am curious where you got the number 15 sold from....

I don't have them, but if I ever actually get around to building a car I suspect I will use them. All the research I have done suggest that these spindles are the most complete fix to just about every front suspension flaw in a g body. More info can be found on Pro-Touring.com and on Lateral-G.net.

As for the price, well everything keeps getting more expensive it seems... :|

Its the opposite from what i've read. Some would suggest the only advantage is the light weight. The hub from a C5 may be a good or bad thing depending on your opinion.

The Gbody didnt have too many bumpsteer issues like the other older cars. And the camber gain can be achieved with a tall ball joint or other tall spindles. I think there are quite a few fast cars ripping up road courses without these. Schwartz Chassis for example.

I have not used them. So my opinion is just that. An opinion.

You can certainly get significant improvements using tall ball joints or other tall spindles. Yet I am not sure if anyone else offers a tall spindle for G bodies, I would certainly be interested if you could point out who has them. The tall ball joints are certainly cheaper than the ATS spindles.

As for the ATS spindles, the weight is an advantage. The C5 hubs I would say are a wash. Again from my research, G bodies have about as much bumpsteer as the earlier A bodies (64-72), but what is too much is subjective I suppose. Either way it looks like it is nearly eliminated. The Ackermann angle isn't great either but supposedly improved too. Those two I don't think you can change with the tall ball joints (other tall spindles might)...If you plan on going with bigger brakes (C5 or LS1) the mounts are already there too.

I just looked at the Schwartz Chassis. If someone was chocking on the price of the ATS, they might have a heart attack when they see the Schwartz Chassis starts at $9,899. I am certain it performs well (it should at that price) and it probably fixes everything that the ATS spindles do (and probably more).

I suppose it all comes down to is it worth it? Some people won't find the tall ball joints worth it. Just like I don't think I would find the Schwartz Chassis worth it.
